The Level Up – Accelerating Sustainable City Solutions, organised in collaboration by Parkly and CHAOS, brought together inspiring cases and new solutions for active exchange of ideas and expanded networks in the field of city development and urban design.
The presenters shared insights and innovative solutions for sustainable cities such as the Biodiversity Building by Y-Foundation and Planetary Architecture and agile piloting programmes by Forum Virium Helsinki. Parkly and CHAOS presented their solutions for tactical urbanism – how small public places can be a faster way forward and how data can be used to create place-led development. Kimmo Rönkä inspired the audience by talking about biodiversity and holistic city planning and how, for example, streets should look like to support sustainable city goals.
Parkly and CHAOS are forming a partnership to create new kinds of synergies around their common goal: to create better public places and more liveable cities. The partnership between these two companies was announced during the event. They share an inspiring vision: creating sustainable, liveable and green cities.
