We’re thrilled that we were invited to showcase Parkly’s modular outdoor furniture system at City.Tech Tokyo. It is an event for creating a sustainable society through open innovation with startups. This was an exciting opportunity for us to present our innovative solution for enlivening public spaces and share our expertise with a global audience. Rasmus Basilier, a great Parkly ambassador, was representing Parkly during the event and providing insightful daily reports.
It’s exciting to see that placemaking is gaining traction in Japan, as urban areas seek to improve their public spaces and create more vibrant and engaging environments. The insights we have gained working with cities and municipalities across Europe have shown us the power of modular systems in achieving these goals.
One of the highlights of our presence in Tokyo was the opportunity to engage with local experts and learn about the unique challenges and opportunities that Japan faces in terms of urban design and public space improvements. We gained valuable insights that we can incorporate into developing Parkly and share the findings with our clients.
